Well I decided the best way to keep track of my travels and let everyone know just where I'm off to now was to create a blog. Who knew this day would ever come.
Today is Thursday, the day before I leave to Africa for my one month Global Health in Tanzania expereince. There will be about 20 of us going from the University of Calgary for 3 of our senior options. Everyone asks me what I'll be doing over there, and well I don't exactly know but I've come to decide that the classes are just an excuse to go to Africa (or maybe that's just how i feel... humm). I know that we go on a Safari for about 10 days i think.. and we go to Zanzibar for 14 days which will be amazing I'm sure.
Another question I get asked all the time, am I excited? Well of coarse, who wouldn't be. It is weird going by myself with no one I know and no one to be excited with me at the time so it's not quite the same. But my bags are all packed and ready to go. I'll be at the airport at 4:15 tomorrow ready to fly away!
